We’re happy to announce the pool will be open normal in- season hours this weekend Saturday and Sunday, June 15th and 16th, from 10am -8pm and 11am-8pm respectively. For the week starting 6/17, we will be closed Monday and open on Tuesday, 6/18 – 6/21, from 3pm – 8PM daily and then back to our normal in-season schedule on Saturday and Sunday, 6/22 and 6/23 for the remainder of the season. This is to accommodate installation of the fencing and to allow our swim activities to not be interrupted by this work.

MRYC Club Update, May 28, 2013...
What a fantastic kick off weekend at MRYC ~ it was great to see everyone at the Spring Opening Cocktail Party ~ the party was a huge success, with special thanks to everyone that helped out with the delicious appetizers for our cocktail hour. We were grateful that Pastor Lou was able to provide the Blessing of the Fleet in between rain drops & wind gusts....also we were very fortunate to have Richard Schwartz, Jr. for our Flag ceremony, who performed flawlessly. For those that stayed for dinner, one thing was for sure...the food was amazing, thanks to Doug Emich & his fine crew...last count was somewhere around 140 who stayed for dinner! So here's what's next....the new pool fence is scheduled to be installed this week. The MRYC Striper tournament is right around the corner, Saturday June 8th & the Women's Tennis Doubles Tournament is this coming weekend, MRYC Spring Series is Sunday June 2nd...in addition to countless other events, please refer to the calendar in the handbook or visit MRYC online.
Big thanks to Tom & his team for getting the place in "Ship Shape" for this very busy weekend. It was great to see so many members enjoying the pool on Monday.
One of our top priorities at MRYC is the safety of all our members, please take a minute & review all the updated rules & regulations in the MRYC handbook, these rules & regulations are designed to help keep our members & their children safe at all times while enjoying our fine club. We have asked our staff to pay close attention to the enforcement of these rules & regulations so we can all enjoy a fun, safe & happy summer. Your cooperation in greatly appreciated.If you have not yet signed up your Juniors for the various programs offered at MRYC, tennis, swimming & sailing, please don't delay. Registration forms can be found online or by contacting the club office. These programs fill quickly so please complete your registration forms at your earliest convenience.

| Painting Party, March 9, 2013

Outstanding effort by over 40 MRYC members of all ages at today's painting party ~ tremendous progress has been made thanks to our members who have generously donated their time & energy....next step is hanging doors & trim in the lower level!
We are on track with our projected time line to be fully operational by April 1st ~ please remember to RSVP to the "Welcome Back / Change of Watch" party on March 23rd.

 The Annual New Year's Pram Race is always a fun way to begin the new year. This year the sailors raced up river to the home of John and Mary Alice where they enjoyed refreshments in front of a warm fire before racing the return leg back to the club. | GIVING TREE, Dec. 15, 2012

Hello All,
On behalf of the Jr. Entertainment Committee, we would like to extend our deepest thanks and gratitude to all the Members that participated in our Giving Tree donation event.
We collected a lot more items and gift cards than we anticipated. Even Laura Abadrabo, the Giving Tree organizer, was shocked at the amount of donations our MRYC members provided.
We also had a lot of Jr. Members visit our donation table and enjoy the hot chocolate and yummy treats while they chatted with Santa Claus. Santa was very eager to discuss what was on the children's wish lists and was even stumped by a few challengers. It was funny to watch.
In light of recent events it was really special for MRYC to be able to give to the children of our community who were the recipients of most if not all of the donations.
